Where'd That Green Come From?

I've been crazy about this sort of shade of chrome green, and anything else in the emerald hue for months now.  And I love subtle touches that make a classic piece modern.  To all of my guys in the business, help me out, who makes these?  I've avoided moccasins, but these could turn me.

  2. Nope- some suggestions but none of them were right..

  3. I actually just found them! They are from Paul Smith, but from last year so no idea how go about purchasing them :(

  4. No, really?? That doesn't surprise me. Everyone was saying things like Russell and Quoddy (sorry guys) but I knew that wasn't right. Paul Smith makes sense. So what do we do...? Where there's a will there's a way

  5. Hey wait a minute...are you secretly the man belonging to these shoes?

  6. Well, I do know someone who works at the PS store here in LA so I could ask him... However this does bring up the question of why are you interested in a pair of men's shoes?

  7. Am I that man? Perhaps. I will say that we do look surprisingly similar from the kneecap down.

  8. Minus the shoes of course...Why am I interested? Because every once in awhile there comes a pair of men's shoes that a woman actually fits into...Or maybe I'd just buy them and keep them as a gift for someone special one day

  9. Best gift giver ever.

  10. Now that being said what would the equivalent woman's gift be?? What does this mystery man say to that?

  12. There's a Paul Smith sample sale going on on West Broadway...maybe I should head over? You bring the space, I'll bring the shoes?

  13. I think you absolutely should. Hope we wear the same size.
I'll get to work on the space... Shouldn't take me too long.

  14. Let's see, what's your size? And how do I find this space?

  15. Twelve and a half, but I'll squeeze into smaller if needed.

Let's see... You're in NY. I'm in LA. I figure it needs to be a place equally convient for both of us. How do you feel about Wichita?

  16. Ok- so I should look for a man on the tall side?
I've got some tall men in my life so should be no problem re-gifting ;)
And Kansas?! Have you seen the blog? I need ocean within close proximity.

  17. Ok, Wichita is out. Back to the drawing board.

I'll be the six-foot-four shoeless man.

  18. I'll take California. I'm not at all opposed.
    6' 4" is a good number.
    California certainly better if barefoot..

  20. You been building that space or what??

  21. Sorry for my absence. I've been neck deep in saw dust trying to get this space up. It's coming along quite well I must say. My only concern is once it's done what will I have to devote my time to? Any ideas for a next project? Also, How do you feel about denim shirts?

    ReplyDelete
  22. It's been said I own a lot of denim shirts. I like em. But I'm very particular of course. And I should hope once you've completed that project you've got something else lined up- or back to whatever it was you were doing before you got sidetracked...and what was that anyway? What location did you pick for the space?

  23. After Wichita being eliminated I decided on a place close to home in Echo Park. Ever been? The weather is warming up and summer is just around the corner. Where else would I rather be?

When I'm not being distracted by east coast women with excellent taste in men's footwear- among other things, I'm busy being distracted making movies, making photos, making Kale, making friends.

Is it funny that we're corresponding via your blogs comment section?
